Account Credit Issue & Court 3 Floor

Dear [[firstname]],

We would like to update you on a couple of issues that have arisen recently.

Some members have found themselves unable to add credit to their Club Account during the past week. The problem has now been resolved and should not occur again; if you experience any such difficulties in the future, please contact your Section Membership Secretary.

Squash and racketball players will have noticed that the floor of Court 3 has been showing signs of unevenness recently. We were initially advised that this was probably a result of ambient conditions and that keeping the heating on for extended periods would likely solve the problem. We have continued to monitor the situation and further investigation now suggests that this is another consequence of the flooding event.

The solution will involve lifting part of the floor so that heaters can be used to thoroughly dry out the concrete below, after which the boards can be repaired. This will mean that the court will be out of use at some point, but we will endeavour to do as much of the work over the Christmas period as possible, to minimise the impact on members.
