Update on squash court reflooring

Dear [[firstname]],

Thank you for bearing with us while we have Squash Court 3 refloored following water damage last year.

We just wanted to update you on the timeframe for the work being completed. The floor on Court 3 has now been lifted and the surface underneath dried out.

Unfortunately, the new flooring is coming to us from Denmark and there have been delays in this getting to us. At present, we can't confirm for sure when this will arrive at the Club. The reflooring is expected to take place quickly once the materials do arrive.

We've taken advantage of the delay to have the side walls of the court refurbished, and the front wall refilled with sand - which should remedy the 'hollow' sound players hear when hitting balls high on the front wall. Similar work will take place on the other courts in due course as well.

We apologise for the inconvenience of Court 3 being out of action for longer than we'd planned, but hope our members understand.

We will update you as soon as we have more details on the timeline we can expect. And hopefully before long, will have all three courts in tip-top condition for you.

As ever, if you have any questions at all, please just reply to this email.

Best wishes,

The Squash Committee
