Women’s Softball Cricket Tournament Success


Congratulations to the fabulous Walthamstow CC Women's Team for winning the Essex Softball Cricket Tournament! The team was formed less than a year ago, huge credit goes to Jennifer and Noor (also Team Captain!) in coaching the team to such fantastic success.

Waltham Forest Hockey Club Open Day - at Walthamstow Academy, Billet Road


Our friends at Waltham Forest Hockey Club are putting on a club ‘Open Day’ Next Saturday - 27th August - which is going to be a lot of fun and very social.


New members are welcome, so they are keen to invite anyone thinking about taking up / restarting with hockey or wants to move hockey clubs.


The day kicks off at 10am with a youth session (U6s to U14s) and then an hour of Flyerz. From midday it’ll be adult friendly games for women, men and juniors over 14. They finish off with two exhibition games, a women’s game at 1.30pm and men's at 3pm.


There’ll be music, drinks and a BBQ with veg options. Their new club photographer (also photographer for WCC!) - Paul Hynes - will be pitchside so feel free to show off your hockey kit!
