Gordon Oates Tournament Friday 3 June

Dear [[firstname]],

As part of the Queen’s Jubilee event at the club on Friday 3 June. The tennis section will be holding the Gordon Oates Tournament. This is a fun American Style doubles event open to ALL MEMBERS OF ALL ABILITIES.

The emphasis is on FUN not ability, each round is short (usually 15 minutes or so) and you will be allocated a new doubles partner each round.

The last event took place 3 years ago, with the last 2 years cancelled because of COVID. The event will commence promptly at 10am, so please get there by 9.45am. Cost of the entry is £3 (please bring cash and correct money if possible). If you wish to enter please complete the google survey below by Wednesday 1 June.

Also please note the car park will be closed for vehicles on the 3 June.

On Friday 3 June all courts will be booked from 10am to 2pm for the tournament from 2pm to 4pm for the Jubilee event Sporting Taster sessions in the afternoon.

Even if not participating we hope members will turn up for the event to join in the festivities.
